Policing is a well paid and exciting job and when recruitment is announced there are always far more applicants than vacancies. The application form and recruitment test for joining the police are not easy. Joining the Police is a big step. You have been thinking about it carefully and you have decided it’s time for a radical change of career. The only thing standing between you and a fulfilling long term career in the Police is the Application Form and the Police Initial Recruitment Test. (PIRT)

It may be years since you did anything like this. Perhaps you never have. Help is at hand.

If you get through the paper sift you will be invited to the PIRT assessment centre. This involves several different elements and lasts for about half a day. As well as written and maths tests you will be expected to role act and you will be interviewed. Our 1 day course will make sure you are ready for this challenge. We cannot and will not write an application form for you, as that would be unethical. We can however use our experience to tell you where your application is strong and crucially where it is weak.
